Are you starting up to be bought out?

There are several reasons why people start up a company. Some companies come up to create a new market. For example: IBM. Other companies come up as a result of making an improvement over existing shit and believe they can provide the consumers with a better product.(For example :Apple.) A 3rd category of companies is the one that includes those that come up with the sole intention of getting bought in the end. They come up with all their guns blazing, give their (better?) competitors some reasons to sweat. Their existence adds no value to humanity. Mankind can easily manage without such companies. But...
